Terms of Service — Bombs Way
Applies to the Android, iPhone and iPad application com.zerojumpapps.bombsway.
These terms are an agreement between you and ZeroJumpApps, LLC (“we”, “us”) for your use of Bombs Way (“the game”). By using the game, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.
1. Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game for your own non-commercial entertainment.
You may not:
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the game, except as the law allows;
- use cheats, bots, modified versions of the game or other tools to change your progress, coins, purchases, ad rewards, duel races, ranks, leaderboard scores or achievements.
2. Coins, items and purchases
Coins, boosters, trucks and other items in the game are a limited licence to use virtual items inside the game. They have no real-world value, can’t be exchanged for money, and can’t be transferred or sold.
Purchases with real money are made through Google Play (on Android) or Apple’s App Store (on iPhone and iPad) and are subject to that store’s terms and refund policy.
Your progress and items are stored on your device. If you sign in (with Google on Android, with Apple on iPhone and iPad), the game also keeps a copy on your online account, so it can come back on a new phone or after you reinstall.
We don’t guarantee that copy will always be available or complete. It’s updated within a few minutes while you’re online, so it can be behind your device, and very large levels in your editor may not be included. If your device and the copy have both changed, you choose which to keep and the other is replaced; they are never merged. Deleting your online data deletes the copy.
Without a copy, your progress and items can’t be restored if you uninstall the game or lose your device. One-time purchases (such as the Starter Pack and VIP) can still be restored from your Google Play account or your Apple Account.
If a purchase is refunded, charged back or revoked, we take back what it gave you. For a coin pack, that means its coins: your balance never goes below zero, and any coins still owed come out of the coins you earn later.
3. Ads
The game offers optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. Rewards are granted only when an ad is watched to the end.
Players without VIP may also see an ad between levels: in the campaign from level 10, at most one every three levels cleared, and between community levels, at most one every three levels and never after a level made by a Pro Editor creator. We don’t control the content of ads.
4. Levels you make and share
The level editor lets you publish levels and a creator name for other players to play.
What you publish stays yours. You give us a worldwide, free licence to host, show, copy and distribute it inside the game, on its share links and in our marketing of the game, for as long as it is published. Unpublish it or delete your online data at any time to end that licence (copies already in marketing may remain).
What isn’t allowed in level names, your name in the game, reports and appeals:
- hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or threatening content;
- personal information about anyone, including yourself;
- impersonation of other players, our staff, or real people and brands;
- spam, advertising or links;
- anything illegal or that infringes someone else’s rights.
Reports. Players can report a level. Levels reported by several players are hidden until our moderators review them.
Moderation. Our moderators may:
- hide or remove levels;
- change or remove names;
- warn creators;
- block creators from publishing, for a time or for good;
- feature levels they like.
Repeat or serious breaches lead to a block. A blocked creator can appeal once per block from the game; a lead moderator reviews each appeal.
No guarantees. Community levels are made by players, not by us, and may be removed at any time. Pro Editor features and publish slots are part of the game licence above.
5. Duels and Multiplayer
Duels are races against recorded runs. Your rivals can be other players or computer-controlled racers, who have names, ranks and places in the weekly groups and top racers like anyone else, and don’t receive rewards. If there’s no run to race yet, you race alone: finishing the road counts as a win, and your run becomes one that others can race.
Multiplayer’s live races are against another real player at the same moment, never a computer-controlled racer. They show your name, truck and rating to your rival while you race. A race found with FIND A RIVAL between two signed-in players counts toward your Multiplayer rating, and leaving one counts as a loss. Rooms with a code never count. Multiplayer’s rating is separate from your Duels rank, and pays no rewards. The rules below on names, cheating and moderation apply to it too.
Your runs. Each duel you finish is recorded. You give us a worldwide, free licence to host and show it, with your name, time and rank, inside the game and on its share links, so that other players can race it and anyone with the link to a challenge you share can race it. Delete your online data at any time to end that licence.
Ranks and rewards. To leave the UNRANKED rank you need to sign in: with Google on Android, with Apple on iPhone and iPad. Ranks, weekly groups, points and week’s-end rewards are in-game only and have no real-world value. Deleting your online data deletes your rank.
Reports and moderation. A player can report a rival’s run for an impossible time or an offensive name. Reported runs, and wins far faster than the game’s bot, go to our moderators, who may:
- remove a run;
- reset a rank;
- ban a player from Duels, for a time or for good, which also takes their runs out of the races.
The appeal in the game covers publishing blocks only. To ask us to look at a duel ban again, write to support@zerojumpapps.com.
6. Leaderboards, challenges and achievements
The game’s own leaderboards (RANKS → LEADERBOARDS) show the best Endless distances, star totals and Weekly Challenge distances of players who signed in, with their names, on Android, iPhone and iPad alike. Leaderboards and achievements are also provided through Google Play Games on Android, under Google’s terms, and through Apple’s Game Center on iPhone and iPad, under Apple’s terms, including Game Center’s challenges between friends. We may remove scores that look like they were obtained by cheating, and take a player’s scores off the game’s leaderboards. Weekly Challenge prizes are in-game rewards only.
7. Changes to the game
We may update, change or remove features, levels, items or prices, or stop offering the game. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes in the game or on our website.
8. Disclaimer
The game is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ZeroJumpApps is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, progress or virtual items, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the game in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.
10. If you got the game from Apple’s App Store
These terms are between you and ZeroJumpApps, LLC, not Apple, and we alone are responsible for the game and its content. Your licence is to use the game on Apple devices that you own or control, as Apple’s App Store terms allow. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the game.
If the game fails to conform to a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for it, if anything; to the fullest extent allowed by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the game.
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims about the game, including product liability, legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection and privacy claims, and claims that the game infringes someone’s intellectual property.
You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo or on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll update the date at the top; continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
