1. Acceptance
By installing or using Univorpa (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not install the app, or uninstall it.
There is no account to close and no subscription to cancel. Uninstalling is the whole of it.
2. What the app is
Univorpa is a catalogue of 159 video game genres. Each genre carries a short playable demonstration of the one mechanic that defines it.
A demonstration is not a full game. It is one mechanic, with no progression, no levels and no ending beyond meeting its own goal. This is deliberate and is described in the store listing. If you expected 159 complete games, the app is not what you are looking for, and uninstalling costs you nothing.
The app is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no virtual currency and nothing to pay for at any point.
3. Licence to use the app
You may install and use the app on devices you control, for personal or commercial purposes, for as long as you like.
You may not:
- sell, rent or sublicense the app itself;
- modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law expressly permits it regardless of this clause;
- republish the app or the atlas as your own work;
- use the app for anything unlawful.
4. The source code download
Each genre’s source code can be exported from the app as a .zip file. Each zip contains a README.md that states the terms the code is provided under. Those terms are repeated here, and they govern:
Exported for you to read, learn from and build on. It is the author’s code, not public domain — keep this README with it if you pass it on, and do not republish the atlas itself as your own.
In plain terms: you may read it, learn from it, and build your own work on top of it, including commercial work. You may not pass it off as your own, and you may not reassemble it into a competing copy of Univorpa. The code is not open source and carries no open-source licence.
The code is provided as-is for study. It is not a supported product, no support is offered for it, and no warranty attaches to it.
5. Advertising
The app is free and is supported by advertising supplied by Google AdMob.
- A banner appears while you browse the catalogue. There is never an ad during play.
- The source code download is unlocked by a rewarded video that you choose to watch. You are asked first, and declining costs you nothing else in the app.
Google collects data to serve those ads. What it collects, and how to limit it, is set out in the privacy policy.
Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent before requesting any ad, and your choice can be changed afterwards from Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy choices.
6. Your data
The app has no accounts and no sign-in, operates no servers, and sends us nothing about you. What it stores stays on your device. Deletion is covered in a separate document, and in the privacy policy.
7. Age and content
The app is not directed to children under 13.
The catalogue documents all 159 genres, which includes a Casino category containing simulated gambling: slot machines, poker, blackjack, bingo and dice. These are demonstrations. No real money, no purchases, no wagering and no payouts of any kind are involved at any point, and nothing in the app can be bought or cashed out.
8. Availability and changes
The app is offered as-is and as-available. We may change it, add or remove genres, or stop distributing it, at any time and without notice.
The app plays offline. If we stopped distributing it tomorrow, the copy on your device would keep working, since nothing in it depends on a server of ours — there is no server of ours.
9. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and the exported source code are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app is free of defects or that it will run uninterrupted on every device.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroJumpApps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of your use of the app or the exported source code, including lost data or lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory right your local law gives you, and nothing here overrides those rights.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
