Terms of Service — BeamFold
Applies to the Android application com.zerojumpapps.beamfold and to the BeamFold web pages at beamfold-game.web.app.
These terms are an agreement between you and Zero Jump Apps (“we”, “us”) for your use of BeamFold (“the game”), including its online features and web pages. By using the game, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to use the game’s online features (signing in, publishing, reporting). If you’re under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
2. Your license to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the game for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the game, except as the law allows;
- interfere with the game’s servers, or access them other than through the game;
- use bots, scripts or modified versions of the game to cheat, to inflate or fake play statistics, ad rewards or reports, or to get around limits or bans.
3. Accounts
Signing in with Google is optional and is needed only for some online features. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You can sign out or delete your account at any time (see section 9).
4. Levels you create
a) Your content
You keep ownership of the levels you create. By publishing a level, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, distribute and play it, and to show its name, statistics and share code. This lets other players find and play it in the game and through share links. The license ends when you unpublish the level or delete your account, except for copies other players have already received.
b) Public and private levels
- Public levels can be found by anyone in the game.
- Private levels can be played by anyone who has their share code or QR code, so share codes only with people you want to play them.
c) What you may not publish
Level names and levels must not:
- be offensive, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience;
- include links, contact details, advertising or spam;
- impersonate others, or infringe anyone’s rights;
- break any law.
d) Verification
A level can be published only after its creator has solved it in the game.
5. Reporting and moderation
Players can report levels from inside the game. Levels reported by several players may be hidden automatically until we review them. We may review, hide or remove any published level, and stop any account from publishing, if we believe it breaks these terms or harms other players. We’re not obliged to monitor content, and we aren’t responsible for levels created by other players. If you believe we made a mistake, contact us at support@zerojumpapps.com.
6. Ads, level credits and unlocks
The game is free and shows ads.
- You can choose to watch rewarded ads to earn level credits, which are used to publish new levels, or to unlock the next level early.
- Level credits and unlocks have no monetary value, can’t be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and exist only within the game.
- We may change how credits and rewards work, including their cost and limits.
- Credits are lost if you delete your account, or if your account is banned from publishing.
- A reward is given only for a completely watched ad that the ad network confirms.
7. Availability
We work to keep the game running, but online features may be interrupted, changed or discontinued at any time. We may update the game, which may change or remove features.
8. Disclaimer
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise that the game will be error-free or always available, or that published levels will remain online.
9. Ending these terms
You can stop using the game at any time, and delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete account or at beamfold-game.web.app/delete-account. We may suspend or end your access to online features if you break these terms. Sections 4(a) (for content already shared), 8, 10 and 11 continue to apply after these terms end.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, progress, credits or published levels, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the game (if any) and US $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the game. If you keep using the game after changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
