Terms of Use — Kraken Calc
Applies to the Android application com.xeroxislabz.krakencalc, published by Zero Jump Apps.
These terms are an agreement between you and Zero Jump Apps (“we”, “us”) for your use of Kraken Calc (“the app”). By using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. Your license to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control. You may not:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except as the law allows;
- use modified versions of the app, or other tools, to get around ads, the premium unlock or purchases.
2. Results are estimates, not advice
Kraken Calc is a tool for planning, learning and everyday use.
- Finance calculators (including Mortgage, Loan, Savings, Tax, Currency, ROI and Inflation) give estimates based on the numbers you enter and on simplified assumptions that each calculator describes. They are not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Tax rules can change, and the Tax calculator doesn’t include state or local taxes, credits or every deduction.
- Currency rates are daily European Central Bank reference rates and may differ from the rates a bank or exchange service will give you.
- Health calculators such as BMI give general information, not medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your health.
- Always check important results before you rely on them. We don’t guarantee that any result is accurate, complete or suitable for your situation.
3. Ads and premium calculators
The app is free and shows ads.
- Some calculators are premium. You can unlock all premium calculators for 15 minutes by choosing to watch a short ad. A watched ad unlocks them only when the ad network confirms it was watched to the end.
- If no ad is available, you may be able to open a premium calculator without one; this doesn’t start the 15-minute unlock.
- We may change which calculators are premium and how the unlock works.
4. Kraken Calc Pro
Kraken Calc Pro is an optional one-time purchase that removes all ads and unlocks every premium calculator.
- The purchase is made through Google Play and is subject to Google Play’s terms. The price is shown in the app and on Google Play before you buy.
- Pro is linked to the Google account you used to buy it. Use “Restore purchase” in Settings to restore it on another device signed in to the same account.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy. If a purchase is refunded, Pro is turned off.
- Pro covers the features the app has. We may add, change or remove calculators over time.
5. Availability
The app works offline, except for downloading new currency rates, ads and purchases. We may update the app, which may change or remove features, and we may stop offering it at any time.
6. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise that the app will be error-free, always available, or that its results will be correct.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from decisions you make based on the app’s results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app (if any) and US $50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app. If you keep using the app after changes take effect, you accept the new terms.
