Data Deletion — ShadowHerd Trails
Applies to the Android application com.zerojumpapps.shadowherdtrails.
Is there an account deletion procedure?
No, because there is no account. The game has no login screen, never asks for an email address, a name or a phone number, and creates no account on our side or anyone else’s on your behalf. So there is no form to fill in. If you would like that confirmed in writing, write to us at the address at the end of this page.
What the game stores on your device
- the stars you have earned on each level, and the reserve you last played
- the species you have discovered for the Herd Book
- which tutorials you have completed
- your settings: sound effects, music, vibration and reduced flashing
None of this identifies you. It never leaves your device, it is not included in Android’s backup to your Google account, and other apps cannot read it.
How to delete it
Either of these erases it. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need to be online.
1. From Android settings
Settings → Apps → ShadowHerd Trails → Storage & cache → Clear storage
Your progress starts again from level 1 the next time you open the game.
2. Uninstall the game
Removing the game removes its storage with it.
Crash reports
If the game has crashed on your phone, a crash report was sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC). It holds technical details and a random installation identifier, nothing that names you, and it is deleted automatically after 90 days. If you want one removed sooner, write to us and we will help; uninstalling the game also discards the installation identifier, so later reports cannot be linked to earlier ones.
Advertising data
The game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, and only when you choose to watch one. To serve and measure them, Google collects data independently of us — typically your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device characteristics and interactions with the ads. We never see it and cannot connect it to you, so we cannot delete it for you.
You control it directly:
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some phones, Settings → Google → Ads).
- Opt out of ad personalisation in that same screen, or through Google’s Ad Settings.
- Where consent applies, change your choice from Settings → Privacy options inside the game.
- Make a data request to Google, the party that holds it, through your Google account.
