Terms of Service — ShadowHerd Trails
Applies to the Android application com.zerojumpapps.shadowherdtrails.
1. Acceptance
By installing or playing ShadowHerd Trails (“the game”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not install the game, or uninstall it.
There is no account to close and no subscription to cancel. Uninstalling is the whole of it.
2. What the game is
ShadowHerd Trails is a puzzle game: you draw a trail for a herd of shadow animals and guide it past lights that burn the trail away. It has 200 levels and plays offline.
The game is free. It contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no virtual currency.
3. Licence to use the game
You may install and play the game on devices you control, for personal use.
You may not:
- sell, rent or sublicense the game;
- modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it, except where the law expressly permits it regardless of this clause;
- extract and republish its levels, artwork, music or sound;
- use it for anything unlawful.
The game, its levels, artwork, music and sound belong to ZeroJumpApps, LLC or its licensors.
4. Advertising
The game is supported by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. An ad is shown only when you choose to watch one, for a route hint or for extra ink, and never in the middle of a level. Declining costs you nothing else in the game.
Google collects data to serve those ads. What it collects, and how to limit it, is set out in the privacy policy. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before requesting any ad, and your choice can be changed afterwards from Settings → Privacy options.
5. Your data
The game has no accounts and keeps your progress on your device. What leaves it — crash reports, and the data Google uses for ads — is described in the privacy policy. Deletion is covered in a separate document.
6. Age and content
The game is not directed to children under 13.
It includes bright, sweeping lights and burn flashes. A reduced-flashing option in Settings tones these down, but if you are sensitive to flashing light, take care when playing.
7. Availability and changes
The game is offered as-is and as-available. We may change it, add or remove levels, or stop distributing it, at any time and without notice. Saved progress lives only on your device, so we cannot restore it if it is lost.
8. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the game is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the game is free of defects or that it will run uninterrupted on every device.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroJumpApps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of your use of the game, including lost progress.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory right your local law gives you, and nothing here overrides those rights.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to play after that means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will also be noted in the game’s release notes on Google Play.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
