Terms of Service — Noqui Notes
Effective date: September 28, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Noqui Notes Android app (“the app”), published by Zero Jump Apps, LLC (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
1. The app and your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Android devices you own or control, under these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service. You may not:
- copy, modify, redistribute or resell the app;
- reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows;
- use it for anything unlawful.
Open-source components in the app are licensed under their own terms, listed in the app under Settings → About.
2. Ads, purchase and refunds
Noqui Notes is free to download, and every feature is available without paying. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You can remove ads with an optional in-app purchase, sold through Google Play for the price shown in the app and in Google Play for your country. It’s a one-time payment. Payment, taxes and refunds are handled by Google Play under Google’s policies, including Google Play’s refund policy. The purchase is tied to your Google account and applies on your devices signed in to that account. If a purchase is refunded, ads return.
3. Your content
- You own everything you create in the app.
- We don’t access, collect or store your content. See the Privacy Policy.
- You’re responsible for the content you store and for complying with the law when you use the app.
4. Passwords, encryption and backups
- Your notes are encrypted with a key protected by your vault password. We can’t recover or reset your vault password or your backup password. If you forget them, data you can’t unlock is permanently inaccessible.
- You’re responsible for keeping your passwords safe and for making backups. The app offers encrypted local and Google Drive backups. Check that you can restore them.
- Google Drive backup is optional and uses your own Google account under Google’s terms. We aren’t responsible for the availability of Google services.
5. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will prevent every form of data loss or unauthorised access, particularly on a device that is compromised, rooted or running malicious software.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the app;
- our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations, so they may not all apply to you.
7. Updates and availability
We may update the app to fix problems, improve security or add features. Some updates may be required to keep using the app safely. We may stop offering the app. If we do, the app you’ve installed will keep working with your existing data for as long as your device and Android allow.
8. Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the app. You can stop at any time by uninstalling it; see the Data Deletion page for removing your data.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This doesn’t affect consumer protection rights you have under the law where you live.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention it in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
